CSI: Miami
“Natalia
Boa Vista”
(Eva
La Rue)
Natalia Boa Vista
takes up professional residence at
Miami’s crime lab after winning a federal grant,
the proceeds of which are used to upgrade the lab substantially.
Per the dictates of the grant, she was to work only on “unsolved
cases,” but she soon learns that there can be a strong connection
between her cases and those of the field CSIs, and she becomes enmeshed
in the work of the department.
Extra-curricular relations with Eric Delko, and subsequently Ryan
Wolfe, make enemies for her of both men when she is revealed to be the
department’s “mole” at the end of Season Four.
Despite this, however, she is made a full CSI at the beginning of
Season Five, and will have her hands full learning the ropes in an
atmosphere where her colleagues are suspect of her motives and actions.
